Chase Gormley
Chase Gormley is a UFC Heavyweight competitor who compiled a 14-6-0 professional record across his career. He appeared in the heavyweight division during the late 2000s and early 2010s, a period that featured some of the promotion's most promising big-man prospects.
In his two tracked UFC bouts, Gormley faced a pair of fighters who would go on to become notable names in the division. At UFC 104 in October 2009, he lost to Stefan Struve by submission, then returned in March 2010 at UFC Live: Vera vs Jones, where Brendan Schaub stopped him by KO/TKO. Across those appearances, Gormley landed 10 significant strikes and one takedown. The back-to-back losses to Struve and Schaub — both opponents with considerable size and developing skill sets — marked the end of his time on the UFC roster.
