John Alessio
John "The Natural" Alessio is a UFC lightweight with a professional record of 35-17-0. Competing across five tracked UFC bouts, Alessio has shown a striking-oriented approach, landing 75 significant strikes over that span with minimal reliance on the takedown game — just one takedown landed across those appearances.
His recent UFC run proved difficult. Alessio dropped a decision to Mark Bocek at UFC 145 in April 2012, then followed that with another decision loss to Shane Roller at UFC 148 that July.
